I’m turning 29…
Turning 29 feels... different. Not in a bad way, not in a terrifying way—just different. It feels like standing on the edge of something bigger than I can fully see, a chapter that hasn’t been written yet but is waiting for me to show up and start turning the pages.
For most people, the thought of turning 30 is this looming, existential crisis. And maybe I’ll feel that way in a few months, but right now? I don’t know how to feel about it yet. So instead of spiraling into questions I can’t answer, I’m choosing to just be in this moment. To soak up every lesson, every laugh, every late-night thought that comes with 29.
This year, I feel the weight of how much I’ve changed. The things that used to matter so much? Some of them don’t anymore. The people I once tried to impress? I don’t even think about them. The version of me that started this entrepreneurial journey? She had no idea how much she would grow, stretch, and evolve.
I own Konnect, a social media marketing company, so my whole world revolves around connection. But if there's one thing I’ve learned, it’s that connection goes so much further than a quick Instagram DM. It’s not just about networking, pitching, or showing up online. It’s about showing up in real life. It’s about the people who know you beyond your curated feed. The ones who see you when you're winning and when you feel like you’re falling apart. I cherish those relationships more now than ever because I know how rare and important they are.
And mindset? Wow. If you had told me years ago that my thoughts, my energy, my belief in myself, would be the deciding factor in my success, I don’t think I would have fully understood it. But now? I see it so clearly. I see how my mindset shapes my actions, how it affects my ability to take risks, how it changes the way I respond to challenges. Growth isn’t just about what I accomplish—it’s about how I think about what I accomplish.
So here’s to 29. To stepping into this year with gratitude for everything that has led me here. To embracing the unknown with a mix of excitement and curiosity. To celebrating the relationships that fuel me and the mindset that sustains me. And to knowing that, whatever 30 holds, I’m walking into it as the most me I’ve ever been.
For now, I’m just going to enjoy the ride.
